After arriving in Singapore on the 14th of July, I discovered that the Singapore Garden Festival was running until the 15th of July (just in time!), so we knew what we would be doing on Sunday - Going to Suntec City!
We took a train down to City Hall, and after making our way up and down numerous escalators, we realised that there was another train station which would lead us directly to Suntec - Esplanade Station!!!! Singapore has had SO MANY changes that I really feel like a tourist whenever I'm back in Singapore!! :)
Pictures speak a thousand words so I 'll let these pictures speak for itself the events of that day!
Pardon my (itchy) little *green* fingers ^^ My rabbit instincts tell me that this is edible!
We were totally "blown away" by this sculpture
This bonsai tree is as big as me!
Orchids abound
We have a small garden in Perth, and I am ashamed to show you what it looks like. The vibrant garden designs displayed there were AMAZING. I was astounded by all of its' intricacies and beauty. My once neat garden now feels like a miserable bed of overgrown bushes compared to what these gardeners managed to conjure up.
Thankfully, it wasn't too crowded on the last day of the festival. In fact, I quite like the crowd that day. There were many people, but not too many. I enjoyed the exhibitions by all the different primary and secondary schools.
Where did we go again??
SMURFS LURKING IN THE GARDEN
Stopped for a quick lunch at Thai Express. I love Thai food, and so does bubsy (although he still doesn't quite fancy spicy food).
After being inside for several hours, I gradually started to feel cold and was even shivering. Lucky bubsy had his fluffy soft Pooh blanky, but he didn't want to share it with me!!!!
